April 3, 2002= Okay, so my depressing Monday is over...
Only losing two pounds is okay. lol This week is going
to be better!! I will definetely be below 220 this week...
The exercise is going well...I went in today and did the
bike for thirty minutes and then my "chest press". lol I just
like the sound of that!! I need my chest pressed every so often!
Mark has only two pounds left before he loses 30 pounds! He is
doing so well!! I was very depressed after having only lost
2.2 over Easter week...but I am determined to hit my 10% goal
which is 23 pounds by April 15. I only need 5.8 more to go.
This week has been going great...I banked five points on Monday
and I banked four yesterday. I have just put my mind to the fact
that I do not need that extra snack at night. My pants are practically
falling off me (wink, wink) but I am going to wait until I hit 200
to buy any new ones. My scale this morning said 217...when I hit 200
it is going to be a major, major celebration day!!!!!

April, 4, 2002: Good morning!! I've been to the gym this morning and I feel
wonderful! Well, except for that pesky little leg muscle that keeps
twitching and sending a shooting pain up my leg!! What the heck is it?
Mark says I've just been using muscles I haven't used in awhile. Ain't that
the truth! lol Aside from that, diet is good. Exercise is good. I'm getting
more comfortable at the gym...still not confident enough to wear spandex, but
I'm getting there. We are having new siding put on starting Monday morning
which means less computer time because I'll be painting the shutters, garage
doors and trim. My hubby is so funny...he tells the guy,
"Geez, we don't want to have to do too much painting."
I said to him, "Hello? WHO is doing
the painting?" They laughed and then Mark told the guy he didn't want his
wife to do much painting. Men.

April 6, 2002: Good morning!! The sun is shining, the birds are singing and
my scale said 215.5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Could it be true? Will I
weight that much on Monday morning? We'll see...

April 8, 2002:Hi all, my weigh-in today was successful!!
I lost 3.6 more pounds which brings me to 217.6!!!! Yeah for me!
I've lost 19.8 pounds since March 7. I only have 3.2 more
pounds to lose to get to the 10% loss of 23 pounds. I stayed in my low point range
all week and exercised and I guess it paid off. Have a good week!

April 10, 2002: Hi all, I haven't many thoughts today...I'm outside in the
gorgeous Maine weather painting the trim on my house. I can't wait for
all the vinyl siding to be done!! And, I'm earning activity points!! lol

April 13, 2002: I'm in Heaven!! I have never tasted anything so good in my
life as my food at Pizza Hut did today!! lol I waited a month and a half
to go out to a restaurant and we went today. I had a personal pan pizza
with pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers and a salad with no
dressing. 17 points later, I was terribly full but very satisfied!! :-)
Worth every point! We went to the gym this morning for an hour and then we
took some of the wood from our old house siding to the recylcing center
and THEN we went shopping. I bought a new pair of jeans....guess what size?
Not a 22....not a 20....not even an 18...they are a size 16!!!! For most
women that wouldn't be so great but for me, it is wonderful! I have had
such an awesome day! Weigh in is on Monday...wish me luck.


April 19, 2002: I guess it's been awhile since I wrote something
here! The kids have been with my parents since last Friday and
I've been busy painting and shopping and napping. :-) At least I've
been getting activity points. My scale at home says I'm at 209.5.
My last weigh in, on Monday, I had officially lost 24 pounds with
WW, which got me to my 10% goal of 23. I bought my first pair of
size 16 pants on Saturday!! It's an amazing feeling to be able to
wear them!!

April 22, 2002: Weigh in today! I now weigh 209.6!!!! Almost to 200
pounds! What a glorious day it will be when I see 199....I can picture
it now...birds are singing, children playing, I'll get out of bed and
step on the scale and promptly fall over!! Can't wait!!!!

April 24, 2002: I don't have any thoughts today...lol. Actually,
I have eaten too much in the last few days. I have been trying
to stay to the low end of my points but the last couple of days
I been to the limit. Good thing I'm exercising...

April 29, 2002: I hit 30 pounds!!! I now weigh in at 206.8!! It's a
wonderful day in the neighborhood...lol
